Is Pharmacy First really free?

Yes. The Pharmacy First consultation is a free NHS service. If you are supplied a medicine, the usual NHS prescription charge applies unless you are exempt.

Do I need to see my GP first?

No. You can come straight to Gordon Shorts Chemist. For the conditions covered, a pharmacist can assess you and supply treatment if it is appropriate.

Will I definitely get medicine?
